ATAK training and workshops
A workshop lasts one to three days and takes place at your site. Your teams learn ATAK on their own devices and practice scenarios from their daily operations.

In-person workshop
Learning on your own device
Our workshops are for emergency services, public authorities and armed forces that want to introduce ATAK quickly and with a practical focus. Besides the general introductory course, we tailor training to your requirements.
We use ATAK on deployments ourselves. We answer questions right on the device, with examples from your own use cases.
What your teams learn
The content depends on who operates ATAK in the field, who looks after the system and who will train others later.
Users
For everyone who uses ATAK in the field.
- Map, own position and markers
- Chat, photos and data packages
- Working without a mobile network
- Exercises based on scenarios from your daily operations
Administrators
For everyone who sets up and maintains the system. If we hand the server over to you, this training is part of it.
- TAK Server with users, groups and certificates
- Setting up devices and connecting them to the server
- Distributing maps and data packages
- Updates and basic troubleshooting
Instructors (train the trainer)
We train instructors from your organization. This creates multipliers, especially in armed forces and large organizations.
- Run ATAK training on their own afterwards
- Certificate from TAK Hub as an ATAK instructor
How a workshop works
Preliminary call
We clarify the number of participants, prior knowledge, devices and the scenarios you want to practice.
Preparation
We tailor the scenarios to your operations and prepare maps of your area.
On-site workshop
Together we set up the devices, go through the most important functions and then practice the scenarios.
Wrap-up
All participants receive a certificate and a patch.
Duration and costs
One day is enough to get started. With admin training and more practice time, plan for two to three days.
What does it cost? That depends on the scope. In the free initial consultation, we give you a range. Costs and process
Frequently asked questions
Didn’t find your question? Call or write to us.
How many people can take part?
A one-day workshop is designed for up to 10 participants. For larger groups, we schedule additional dates.
Do participants need prior knowledge?
No. The introductory course starts with installation. For experienced users and administrators, we put together suitable content.
Where does the workshop take place?
At your site, with your own devices. Travel expenses are charged separately.
Is admin training part of the handover?
Yes. Before we hand the server over, we train your administrators to manage users, groups and certificates, connect devices and install updates. After that, your team runs the system itself.
How much does ATAK training cost?
That depends on duration, number of participants and location. We give you a range in the free initial consultation and the binding price in the written quote.
