About TAK Hub
We set up ATAK for emergency services and armed forces, train their teams and look after the system in day-to-day operation.
Marcel Neuroth, founder and managing director
Marcel is a former soldier and an Afghanistan veteran. After his military service he studied mechatronics. He then went on to volunteer in Ukraine, bringing his knowledge of tactical emergency medicine and his technical background. Later, as a mission leader, he planned and coordinated operations and made them considerably safer for everyone involved.
His studies and these missions helped him learn ATAK quickly and thoroughly. He used it in the field himself, including on many evacuation missions near the front line in eastern Ukraine, some of them dangerous. That is why he knows exactly what the system can do and where its limits are.
That is also where the idea for TAK Hub came from: digital operations management should be open to as many users as possible. ATAK is open source and freely available, so it can also support German aid organizations and civil protection authorities effectively and at low cost. Setting it up, however, takes time and expertise. Today, our team takes care of that part.
We support organizations and government agencies in Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia. More and more of them, internationally as well, recognize that they need modern, interoperable and affordable digital operations management.
Besides emergency services, we work for armed forces in Germany and abroad. We train military units, set up TAK Servers and hand them over to the unit. Together with defense companies, we develop plugins and solutions for military applications.
What we work for
Emergency services in Germany and Europe should be able to use ATAK without having to become experts in servers, certificates and radio themselves. In the long run, public authorities, aid organizations and companies should see the same map during joint operations, each organization with its own server.
- Field-tested expertise We know ATAK from our own deployments. Training takes place on your devices, with scenarios from your daily work.
- Integration from a single source Server, devices, mesh radio, training and plugins come from one point of contact. You do not have to coordinate separate parts.
- Open-source friendly We rely on open software and open formats. If you change service provider, your system keeps running.
- Data sovereignty The server runs on your premises or in a data center in Germany. If you want, we hand it over to your administrators, and then you don’t depend on any outside company, including us.

We condemn Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, which violates international law, and we stand with the people of Ukraine.
We train Ukrainian aid organizations free of charge, and we donate regularly to humanitarian organizations working in Ukraine.
